My Yiddish Papi at The Encounters (UK)

La SODEC soutient la production de Mon yiddish papi!

C'est avec une grande joie que nous avons appris, Picbois Productions (prod: Karine Dubois), l'ONF (coprod: Julie Roy) et moi-même le soutien en production de la SODEC à mon court-métrage animé Mon yiddish papi ! Un nouveau film d'animation à venir!


Mon yiddish papi est un film d’animation à l’encre de chine abordant les thèmes du deuil, du regret et du devoir de mémoire. Le scénario du film avait remporté le "Prix SODEC/SARTEC", accompagné du "Prix spécial du jury" à Cours Écrire Ton Court en 2011.

WALL is directed by Cam Christiansen and produced by the NFB, Bonnie Thompson and David Christiansen, with the support of The Banff Centre. This animated feature film is based on a play written by David Hare (WALL: A Monologue, 2009) who wrote The Hours (2002), The Reader (2008) and many other plays and feature films. 

My actual work on this project is to animate the opening scene. Below you can see a sketch of my work for WALL. I work mostly with ink and acrylic on paper.
